what is the Internet security code service (3D Secure Code)?
The main concept of the service is that during online shopping, you as a card holder receive a one-time security code that must be provided during your purchase as an extra identifier in addition to your bank card data. The Internet security code is unique for each purchase, and whenever you initiate a payment, the Bank will send it in a text message to the mobile phone number provided by you as the card holder. So even if someone has accessed your card data, without the security code sent to your mobile phone they will not be able to shop online with your card.
how long is the security code valid?
A single security code is valid for maximum 10 minutes, then it will become inactive automatically if not used.
who can use the service?
In order to be able to use this service, you must register for it. The Internet security code service can be used by any card holder client of K&H Bank provided that they have a bank card suitable for online shopping. Visa or MasterCard, retail or business debit cards and credit cards (except for ATM cards) issued by K&H Bank are all suitable for online shopping.
where can I shop with the Internet security code?
You can shop with the Internet security code only at merchants who have joined the system. The number of such merchants is continuously growing. The websites of these merchants feature the following logos: “Verified by Visa” or “MasterCard SecureCode”.
If you do not see these logos on the merchant’s website, it means that it has not joined the service, so the Bank will not send an Internet security code and you will only have to give your bank card data for the purchase.
