Here’s a telling example of how much smartphones and the apps used on them have become part of everyday life: in the last quarter of 2023, the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store offered millions of apps. This means that a lot of apps are within reach, but it’s important to be careful. You should only download or buy apps from official sources, i.e. from the ‘app stores’ mentioned above.
Be careful with apps from unknown sources
Be careful! Smartphones can have their protection turned off, in which case apps can also come from unknown, risky places, and it’s best to avoid such situations. Apps downloaded from unknown sites can scatter your phone with malware, viruses and phishing solutions. Inspectors at the official stores (Google Play, App Store, etc.) always check the official apps on offer and, if necessary, take action to remove suspicious apps.
Only get apps from the official store
