What you should know before you make up your mind
- The terms and conditions of public offering are specified in the Fund Prospectus as approved by the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB) and in the Final Terms and Conditions of the various individual bond series.
- In the framework of the Bond Programme, several series of bonds can be issued throughout a twelve-month period starting on the date of the approval by MNB, up to an amount of HUF 100 billion (limit), in the following currencies: HUF, EUR, CHF and USD.
- The bonds may be offered for sale at face value, below face value or above face value.
- The public offering may be by way of subscription or by way of auction.
- In the case of oversubscription, the bonds will be allocated in accordance with the applicable Final Terms and Conditions, by either the “card dealing” or the “first come, first served” method.
- The yields of your investment may track exchange rates or stock prices, the yields of other instruments, raw material prices, indexes, the rate of inflation, etc.
- The bonds will be redeemed upon maturity, or may be redeemed before maturity in a lump sum or smaller instalment in accordance with the applicable Final Terms and Conditions, at face value, below face value or above face value.
- Both the Issuer and the Bond Holder may redeem bonds before their maturity in case the applicable Final Terms and Conditions provide for such an opportunity to redeem the bonds in question.
- There is no timetable for the issues.
- This form of investment is not protected by the National Deposit Insurance Fund (OBA).
